Vision

When I got started in my network marketing business, I literally was in the dark.  The funny thing is, for some crazy reason I just
wouldn’t quit.  I got started with the same advice that most of you did – and it goes something like this: “Make a list of EVERYONE you
know, call ‘em up, and pound them to death until they either join or die…”

Lol.

Ok – maybe it wasn’t that bad – but it kind of was…  For some reason – for the next 5 years, I hung around in this business and just kept on doing the same thing over and over again – ‘WISHING’ that it would work.

Five years later – it didn’t work any better than it did when I started doing it in the first place. It’s funny a lot of times how we get in this industry and we try and do things that massive, huge companies with 10 million dollar advertising budgets do.  Small business IS NOT large business, and it needs to be treated differently.

So what’s the difference between marketing for a small business? What you do has to be created with one goal in mind – responsiveness.  How does the right market respond to what you’re doing – and does the response end in profit or loss?

Looking at it like an intelligent business person who is in a ‘for profit’ enterprise – Network Marketing really only has 3 goals.

1.    To sell products, services, and marketing tools.
2.    To recruit distributors to sell products, services, and marketing tools.
3.    To help your team sell products, services, and marketing tools.

That’s really it.  So rather than sticking to one particular strategy – why not just look for the most effective, efficient way to make that happen?

For example – with the ‘friends and family’ approach – it just begs the question: Do friends and family respond well to home meetings -
or not? If not, then why bother?

What I’ve found is that home meetings work well in some markets and not in others.  Certain people have spheres of influence that
respond well and others don’t.

A lot of people with a non-responsive sphere of influence keep hammering their relatives to death again and again.

The reality is that in Network Marketing, you have to move a massive amount of people to action to create any kind
of sustainable, BIG result – so why play small, anyways?

I remember when I got into this industry, they told me to sponsor 2 people a month to go diamond in 2-5 years.  Funny enough -
there’s almost no one in this entire industry that worked with such tiny numbers to create any kind of massive leverage.

MOST network marketing leaders making six figure residual incomes have sponsored well over 100 people, some of them have
sponsored 200, 300, or even 500.The fact is – that rather than dilly dallying around with small, ineffective approaches, and when something doesn’t work – just smashing your head against the wall harder, doesn’t it make sense to find out what works and stop doing
what doesn’t – and stick with what’s effective?

I started this article off with one word -VISION.  Funny enough, though, that is NOT what is going to make the most difference in your business.  You can have huge dreams and still beat your head against a wall.  The thing that is going to make the biggest difference is learning the simple ACTIONS that WORK to create the results that you want – and then having the VISION to follow
through with them.

Your vision will keep you around and motivate a team once you get one – but if you want results – you’ve got to learn the skill of direct response marketing, and you’ve got to THINK like a small business entrepreneur who only has time to do something that’s
going to create and increase bottom line profits.

What do we make money for in MLM?  Selling, recruiting, and our team selling and recruiting – that’s it.

Let’s not make this industry mysterious, because all of those things are easy to learn when it’s all your focused on, and you
look past the hype.  One more story and then I’ll let you go.  I had a team member just the other day who told me that they had to
unsubscribe from my emails because they get anxiety every time they go to their inbox.

They said they never know if there’s going to be an emergency get together – or some kind of promotion, or what’s going to be there.
(I cycle through periods of promotion and value)

It kind of made me chuckle – because for me – I’m only doing things that work.  If that kind of email didn’t make massive amounts of
sales, I wouldn’t write it – and if you’re not in this to make sales and profits – why are you doing this at all? I want to level with you, if

Everyone gets so excited when they see people who are making over 6 figures in our industry. They look at them as an authority figure and even give them a title as “guru” while some of them are great at what they do, all they did that you are still doing is practice.

Have you ever heard of the saying “practice makes perfect”? well, its true. The amount of time you put into your business will determine how good you get at your skill and will also determine the amount of money you make. The more you practice, the more money you make. I have been reading this great book by Michael Masterson called “Seven years to Seven figures” and it is case studies about people who went from their regular jobs or business to building multi-million dollar empire.  Its really a great read and know it will be a great resource for you.

In the book, Michael gives you three things you can do to master your skill:

1. Narrow down your field of expertise

2. Practice it everyday

3. Promote yourself

Isn’t that what the gurus have done? Some are good at copyrighting, lead generation, prospecting, recruiting, etc. The only reason why we know is because they promote themselves. So what’s stopping you? Do you need to practice more or promote yourself more? whatever it is, you can easily put yourself on the right track and start turning your business around.

Over the past couple of weeks I have been working on a project and I have to tell you, I have never been more challenged in my life. I finished the project with ease, but I’ve been practicing my writing and it has literally taking me about a good 2 weeks to come up with something great. I have watched videos, read books, and even listen to an audio my mentor had on his site on how to write well. Well, I have to tell you, after soaking up all that knowledge, I finally have my first draft.

But, back to what this blog is about and that is how to go from zero to maximum credibility.

Most people in our industry hold off on creating their own products or even doing an interview with someone else because they feel they are not credible or have not created that much success in their business. If that is you, I want you to upgrade your mindset and stop thinking that way. If you were able to create a product, you are a success, if you were able to get 10 leads, one person to buy or even create an outline you are a success. Their are some people who are out there who have not even attempted or do not even have a clue and you are way ahead of them.

Okay I got off topic again… so let me hit it. If you have created your own product and you need credibility, the best thing you can do is ask for reviews. Let people know that you will give them a free copy of your product if they would give you a testimonial. If you don’t want to offer the product to them free, then let them review it for a certain amount of time.

There are plenty of people who would love to review and give you feedback. It also creates a win win situation. You get the testimonial and they get the sneak peak. You never know, they might like your product so much that they may want to help you sell it.

So be open about sharing it and you will reap the benefits 10 fold.

Hey guys,

I have a question: what are you planning to do with all of the traffic you get to come to your landing page?

I should know the answer right, try to get them into your business or sell them something duh!!

Well, as easy and obvious as that question sounds, that is the wrong the answer. That type of mindset is the reason why so many online home based business owners are failing.

They are too caught up in making a sale and sponsoring and  not seeing the bigger picture.

Let me give you an example

How many people’s list you’re on? 3, 4, 5, more. Out of those list, how many try to sell you something? Probably all of them right? And how many do you buy from? Probably 1 or none.

 Now why is that?

Why don’t you go after every offer the person you subscribed to has to offer? I’ll tell you why, because you don’t have a RELATIONSHIP WITH THEM.

Isn’t that right?

You subscribe because there was something that caught your attention. Maybe you are on a budget and looking for techniques on how to build your business on a budget. Or maybe there is a certain skill this person has and you want to learn more but you are not if they have convinced you enough to spend the money. If the truth be told, you are waiting to see if they would come out with something that will finally solve your problem so you don’t have to follow everybody so your just sitting and waiting hoping they will do it for you.

Well, the same way you are thinking, so is your prospects and people on your list. They might may be in the right position to buy your product or join your business but if you don’t have a relationship with them, they are not going to join or buy from you. Your prospects have to feel comfortable that they are making the right decision and if and when they make it, they have a good enough relationship with you to know that you are going to have their back along the way.

So how do you develop a relationship with your prospects?

  1. Interact with them often- this can be through your blog or email.
  2. Let them know how you sound- It sounds crazy but when you do webinars or have different conference calls, people feel like they can get a sense of who you are.
  3. Answer their questions- the best thing to do to lower your prospects resistance and build the relationship with them is to allow them to ask you questions
  4. Give them value- you probably already doing this anyway, but always stay up to date on what they want to learn and provide it to them.

It sounds easy but a lot of marketers fail to get it done. Remember, your generating a list to build relationships with people. Once you do that, conversions come naturally.

You Can’t Make 100,000 Doing 10.00/hr work

 I keep this quote from Rory Fratt right by my computer to remind me of the things that I need to focus on so that I can continue to have the success I am experiencing marketing my network marketing business online.

Many network marketers think that if they sit and write articles, blog comment, or make a post to their blog, that they are moving one step closer to making their 100,000 a month check. Sorry to bust your bubble but you wont.

See, you have two options. You can continue to go down the road your going and waste time and go broke, or you can shift your thinking, get clear about your goals, and start working on those things that matter.

To many times, network marketers get caught in the loop of trying to figure out how to win at the game. Where the game is simple:

“Everyday you ask yourself how can you effectively get your message in front of a lot of people for a reasonable price and make a profit”.

Most people will say relationships matter as well and that is true, relationships are everything, but you have to build relationships with people who are of like mind so you can grow.

When you start to realize that the most valuable use of your time and the one that will bring you the highest return is concentrating on your marketing, you will instantly change the course of your business and grow your business to that 100,000 mark you envision.

All you network marketers who have been marketing online for free using article marketing and want to take your marketing efforts to the next level, listen up. This will be the most important article you will ever read.

Unlike Google PPC where you pay per click, Solo-ads you pay up front. You are taking a chance on a person list that’s why you have to make sure that you check with the list owner and make sure they have a responsive list or they guarantee a certain amount of clicks. The best thing you can do to make your solo-ads work is to have a chat with the list owner and see what offers their list usually respond to.

How Do you Write A Successful Solo ad?

When writing a solo ad you want to make sure you have a catchy title to get people to click then follow it up with great short content that sparks curiosity.

For Example a subject for your solo ad might be “how to generate 2,324.68 in 60 days… video inside” numbers and “how to” always spark curiosity in people. The next thing you want is great content inside the body of your email. To make it easy and short, take the headline from your website and put it into the body of your message

For Example “Find out how this 26 year old kid made 10 million dollars in 3 years using simple solo ads! Click to watch video”

Easy right, Its all about how you deliver the message. There are so many other techniques that you can incorporate into your solo ad that will make it stand out, convert like crazy, and give you the sales you are looking for. Home Based Business Owners Say They Don’t Have Time To Facebook For Sales

Home based business owners who market online say that they understand the power of facebook but they feel like with everything else they are doing to get the attention of their prospects, facebook is not on their schedule right now to pull in traffic. Some say, with the lost of a couple of million profiles in the U.S., they not even sure if it will be worth their time. Well, I have to give you my opinion on this without making this a rant. I am going to outline some details as to why you should consider making facebook your number one priority when it comes to make sales in the business.

 

 

 

First, most home based business owners who market their business online is trying their best to follow what the Gurus are doing to pull in traffic. They do paid media and some SEO and expect to get some big results. Well, I have to tell you, those tactics still work but not like the use to 5 years ago.

Internet Is Changing And So Is Facebook

Hear me out…

The Internet is constantly changing. We are going from a online search society to an online social media society. That means that your prospects are doing les searching and more communicating. They are not looking for stuff all around the internet and searching different pages. They are asking their friends for recommendations and connect to people directly from all around the world to get what they want through social media.  When was the last time you made a post asking people about a question or how to do something? It probably was recently. If you did not get an answer in the time you expected, then you turned to the search engines to see if you could find the answer.

Crazy Right? Now why is this happening…

Because you would rather get the answer from a reliable source than going through a couple of websites to find that either they don’t have what you are looking for, or they are trying to bribe you to sign up and get on their list to get the answer.

That is why the Google Slap happen. To many websites out there are full of garbage content and searchers are not taking it anymore so Google had to do something or they would be just like every other search engine out there.

So now your business gets trashed.

You find out Google is not going to tolerate trashy websites and you get nervous because your link, or your content might be on these sites and next thing you know your accounts are closed and your stuck.

So what can you do to stay connected to your prospects?

Use Facebook of course.

Facebook as we all know wants to beat Google and become the number one website people use to socialize and search for great content. It gives you a huge advantage and a great platform to facebook for sales and really generate business for yourself.

How You Say?

Well, by using all the tactics that normal paid media does not give you

  1. You can connect directly to your prospects all in real time
  2. You can find out the exact needs and desires of the majority of your prospects and give it to them
  3. You can also build a brand that is unstoppable and can take your business to the next level.

Isn’t that worth spending time and money on? Having real data and real results in minutes is what Google sold to you with ppc and Google Analytics. The difference with facebook is you get to see, interact and communicate with those people who enjoy your products or services. Using facebook is really a no brainier but it does take time like everything else. So why not take the plunge. Facebook Crushes Yahoo In Display Advertising

There are messages going around that facebook is dead but as it has been announced Facebook is going to overtake Yahoo and get a larger piece of the pie when it comes to display advertising. I remember when facebook started their advertising service. I created a fan page and in the matter of 2 hours I had over a thousand target prospects apart of my page. Now facebook advertising is getting notoriety and attracting the attention of major companies which means competition will increase dramatically if you do not take action.

Facebook has caught the attention of Coca- Cola, JPMorgan and Adidas and is expected to reap in a whopping 2.19 billon in sales this year alone. All I have to say is if you are a small or home based business owner and you have not taken advantage of facebook to boost sales and to incorporate into your marketing strategy, you better  hurry before the big boys take over.

 

We all know that facebook has a mission to become the number one search engine in the world and we know that it is changing everyday. With Google not making it possible for us marketers to rank and be seen, facebook is definitely making it possible to connect directly to our prospects through facebook advertising.
